Selfie Sticks are Being Banned?

For the past few years, selfies are the trend to photography. Selfies are loved by others because we are the people controlling the good side of ourselves on camera. Selfies are also easily taken and you don't have to ask strangers or other people to help take the picture for you. Sometimes we feel bad for wasting other people's time because of our needs. Lately there was this clever inventor that wanted others to take selfies more comfortably. Then the inventor invented a selfie stick because of our love for selfies. Everyone wanted a selfie stick because it makes taking selfies way easier and the photo quality was way better. Just when realize this great invention, many tourist attractions and countries had banned the selfie stick. In their opinions, they think that it is unsafe and that it causes more people to take narcissistic photos.  Sometimes we can give in to the safety of the selfie sticks by compromising our actions.

In my opinion, I think that everything has it's bright and dark side. Although I know the safety of the citizens are more important than taking pictures, but it's sad to loose the right to use a selfie stick. If everyone would be more careful and use the selfie stick more safely, then the selfie stick wouldn't be banned. If people would be more careful to how they act around others with a selfie stick, then this wouldn't be a problem. This problem can turn around, as long as we are more responsible, then we can be able to keep the right to use selfie sticks. It is not the object's fault because the selfie stick is not made to disrespect others, it is the ways we use it.

On the bright side, there are lot of benefits to using a selfie stick. Sometimes we can only reach our arms out at a certain distant because we are born with the length of our arms. Taking selfies requires arm strength, because we have to reach it out as far as possible to fit more people in the picture, but sometimes their faces are still cut off. With the selfie stick, we don't have to worry about making arms tired because we just have stick the phone onto the end of the stick and the stick does all the stretching for us. Having the stick do the work for us will help us control the stick more easily. When we control our stick better, then it could improve the quality of the photo due to less shaking. When we stretch out our hands too long, our arms tend to shake because we are tired from holding our phones in an uncomfortable position. When holding the phones, our hands can slip and can easily cause the phones to be damaged because of that drop. If we really want to take selfies but we don't want our phones to slip out of our hands as often, we can always use the selfie stick. The end of the stick can help grasp the phone tightly so that it doesn't slip out.

Using a selfie stick is like benefits after benefits. It can help increase the quality of the photos. The selfie stick could prevent our phones from dropping while taking selfies. Although selfies sticks are banned because of safety issues, but as long as we know when and where we use it at, then it would cause as much problems. Everything has its good and bad side, it depends how we use the object and how look at the situation. I think that selfie sticks shouldn't be banned because it makes taking selfies so much easier for us. As long as we are aware of of the people around us and their safety, selfies stick is a great inventions, and we should have the right to use it.

Artificial Intelligence?

What does Artificial intelligence mean? Artificial intelligence is a theory or development of technological devices that helps humans accomplish their action at a faster time and more convenient. In simpler terms, artificial intelligence is when technological devices helps us do our jobs. There are both pros and cons towards this big topic. Technologies and computer systems helped us make the things we do way easier, but if it is too developed, this world can be scary. Just imagine all robotic creations replacing our intelligence. This is how the world would be like, if we continue to rely on technologies.

There are quite a few disadvantages towards artificial intelligence because it could replace our human smartness. As humans, develop logical thinking, but if we are not as smart as the robots, then companies would choose the robot over us. The companies have already started using machinery to replace us because they work more efficiently and the labor cost less. The machinery does it's job non-stop because it is a machine and they only have to pay for oil money. This problem could be more serious than we thought because this leads to a decrease in employment rate, meaning that more people would be unemployed. It is hard enough already to compete between each other and now with machines too?

I think that technologies could help us make our job way easier and less time consuming, but at the same time fully relying on technology is bad thing. One day, we would be clueless when we loose our technological resources, then we wouldn't know what to do. Working with technology is not a bad thingy, but we have to make sure that we don't rely too much on it.

The Truth About Commercials

Now a days, there are lots of commercials that are shown on the television. There are so many ads that we just give up on looking or watching every single one of them. Why is it that we don't likes ads? Why do people switch changes rather than watching a 30 second commercials. What is the truth behind those attractive products and description of the ad?

I've realized that the commercial used an advertising technique that uses testimonials. Meaning that the commercial contains people talking how great the product is, or what a difference it could make. Commercials are not supposed to hire people to say good things about their product. Although I am not sure whether or not they hired those people, but how can everyone think the same out of that crowd? Everyone thinks that the guy looks way more manly with their beside him. I think that it is very unfair because the people can't express their own thoughts because the company are paying them. This commercial also uses snob appeal, because it explains how their product can make the man look more appealing.

I think it is offensive because it is not realistic to say that a product could make a such great difference between a human being. If the person looks the same, then how does the car beside him make him more appealing. I think they are stereotyping in this commercial because they are spreading the message that a car can make others judge a person differently. We are great just the way we are. Why do we have to spend money to buy material items that doesn't change ourselves at
all?

Overall I find this commercial high offensive because they are saying that their product can help us look better. In fact the car has nothing to do with making a person look more manly or not. I think this commercial is used to trick people who has low self-esteem because those are the people who wants to look better or feel smarter. I think that commercials can be enjoyable to watch, but they shouldn't be offensive towards its viewers or others. Nothing is going to change after getting the jeep because the people who expresses their opinions in the commercial are lying.

How Could Parents Do Such Thing?

I don't think putting embarrassing photos of their kids will help them have better life at school. Also anyone can have access to the internet, therefore it is not right to make them feel ashamed for whatever mistake they had made. Although I know that if people are wrong, they have to be punished, but not this way. This way of punishment is the meanest and cruellest thing I have ever heard. The parents can punish their kids all they want at home, but why do they have to put it on the internet? No matter what the kids have done, the internet shouldn't be a place for punishment. This type of punishment could ruin the lives of the kids.
The kids might feel embarrassed to death in front of his classmates, and just everyone in the world that sees the picture of video of them. This could ruin the kids' mental health, because everyone might make fun of them. When being made fun of, it is also known as bullying. The kids might be laughed at and others start to bully the victims. Bullying can have a great impact on kids, therefore this is an unsafe thing for parents to do. If the kids are being bullied, it could affect his mental health, and it can also develop a depression. As we pay attention to the picture of the boy with the haircut, he was somewhat smiling before he got the haircut, but after the haircut he looked very sad. This must be very depressing for him, for a boy to have an old man haircut, just because of his grades.
Also I don't think that kids should be punished for not getting the grades that their parents are satisfy with. The kids are the one that are learning and working. How do the parents know that they did't do well enough? Maybe they tried their best. After these public embarrassments, the kids will have stress and pressure while going to school, because they don't want to be punished they same way they once did. From the picture, the kids are still in elementary school. Elementary school is suppose to be a fun memory for kids, but if gets pressured, then he wouldn't feel happy at school. Also the parents would never understand the feeling on learning these days, therefore they shouldn't punish kids for not getting the marks they are satisfy with.
There are lots of punishment in this world, but why do the parents have to publicly embarrass their kids. Once it is posted on the internet, it can never be erased, therefore parents should think of their kids' feeling before posting. Who knows, maybe the parents regret their actions for the rest of their lives.

What Goes on the Internet, Stays There

In the 21st Century, technologies are really important for us and we rely on the devices around us. For example, the internet could help us search things us up for a project or communicate with our friends after school school on Facebook. Even though the internet was one of the most successful and useful invention, but everything has its pros and cons. The internet is used by millions of people and of all ages, therefore whatever we would put on the internet, we have think twice before we hit 'send' or 'post'. Whatever we post on the internet, the whole world could see what we posted and also it exist permanently on the internet, there is no use of deleting a post or message because it permanently stays there.
Having heard many stories about how students and adults misuse the internet but insulting or threatening others. This is also known as cyberbullying and it is important to keep in mind the consequences of committing this crime. As a lot of people say "If you don't say those things in front of someone's face, then why say it online?" Although I know that there are a lot of students that don't mean what they are trying to say, but it is a crime. No matter what, sending rude insults and threatening others are wrong. Therefore if people plan on writing something like this, please reconsider it by thinking about the consequences.
I feel disappointed that people have nothing better to do than to insult others online, because it is not safe and also it is a waste of time. We should be thankful to have such an amazing invention that helps us do so much. It is very disappointing that people still misuse this. I do think that this is something that we should be concerned about because it is not safe and the sayings may also be harmful to others. It can also increase the suicidal rates in the world because the things that we say might hurt others. It could cost a big impact on others. I don't think that this problem would go away on its own because it has an big impact in the world.
I believe that this problem will not just go away because it is a serious problem. This problem will just continue to grow more, if we leave it alone. Problems like this could get out of hand. Since everyone can access internet, it is important to realize this problem and try to find a way to reduce this problem. Although one of the solutions to cyberbullying is to face consequences with the police and the law, but there are many people that still cyberbully, but doesn't get caught. Therefore I think in the future, we have to find another way to resolve this issue. As much as I want to say that social media should be governed, but I do believe that not everyone does such harmful things to others. For the people who did wrong, the well-behaved are giving up their privacy because of the ones who were wronged, I don't think that this is fair for everyone. Although we couldn't leave this problem as it is, but I'm sure in the future, we could find a better method to understand and resolve this issue that is happening in our society. Together we can!
