This link talks about how celebrities and photographers also known as paparazzi's don't get along well. They are enemies in this society. Why is it that they hate each other so much? Will the feuds between them resolve? I thought that celebrities like their pictures taken? Well I guess social media does have its good side and its bad side. Celebrities hate paparazzi because those photographers has taken their job to the extreme, which could become a bit frustrating for celebrities.
In this article, the celebrities who has became a mother are complaining how because of themselves, their children has been stalked and chased by those photographers. Of course as parents, it is a mutual feeling to be turning the tables on paparazzi because of their actions towards their kids. However, I think that the moment they decide to be celebrities, they should know that all their privacy will be gone. The society's eyes are all on them. Therefore it is not something that can be prevented, unless the job paparazzi doesn't exist in this world. Even though I understand that being stalked, spreading rumours and chasing after their kids are not the nicest things to do, but that's the cost of becoming famous. The luxurious life they are living in, are they happy about it? Celebrities have whatever they want but the one thing they can't have is privacy. Sometimes becoming a celebrity isn't that easy because occasionally there are a lot of rumours and misunderstandings because of the pictures that paparazzi had taken to earn money. As for the paparazzi, I can imagine how annoying and frustrating they can become, but in the end, they are just trying to make a living.
Unlike the celebrities, paparazzi's lives are the total opposite. The job of being a paparazzi is hard and tiring. Paparazzi might not want to make a living by disturbing others, but that's how they earn a living. I'm pretty sure that they feel guilty for what they doing, but that's what they are getting paid for. In conclusion, I take on celebrities' side because those extreme behaviours of the paparazzi can be very frustrating. I believe that everyone deserves to have privacy. Privacy is one of the main human standards that everyone need. Without privacy, then the world become a mess. No matter what happens, everyone has the right to have privacy to live peacefully in this world.
Although I agree with you on how the paparazzi are just trying to make a living, they could also be a lot less aggressive and try to be more respectful towards celebrities. Just because they're paparazzi, it doesn't mean that they should just attack celebrities and be disrespectful towards them. I think that they could get a lot more inside scoop if they were more likable and respectful. I think celebrities would be more inclined to speak to them.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it strange how we have cameras on celebrities at all times now? They take selfies, the paparazzi takes shots of them, they do photo shoots. I think the paparazzi need to back off quite a bit because right now, the only reason why they're still really in business is to get candid shots of embarrassing things. But everybody does embarrassing things. We just only focus on when celebrities mess up. I do imagine being a celebrity is quite draining as well so it makes sense that sometimes they're out of it. It takes a lot of effort to make the extra money, n matter how you make it. A lot of paparazzi help out people though. Looking at paparazzi, it's easy to forget that they lead lives to. I read about a paparazzi covering for Will Smith's bill because he was a bit short. Paparazzi are still people, so hopefully they remember that they still want to keep some things personal as do celebrities.
